It’s raining, it’s pouring…

This week’s Saturday workout will be one that you can do almost anywhere. Who wants to venture out in the rain and damp air when you can just workout from the comforts of home? All you need is a good old fashioned jump rope. I LOVE this workout. It makes me feel like a kid again, except with high intensity calf and leg soreness after completion. I don’t remember that as a kid. Find your favorite music, a small patch of floor and jump away. Afterwards, resume reading your newspaper and drinking coffee, because that is what rainy days are for.

300 reps each movement OR 3min then 2min then 1min each

  • Standard 2 Foot
  • Single Leg (150 right leg, 150 left leg)
  • Boxer Shuffle
  • Lateral 2 Foot
  • Front and Back 2 Foot
  • High Knees
  • Buttkickers
  • Single Leg Lateral (150 right leg, 150 left leg)
  • Single Leg Front to Back (150 right leg, 150 left leg)
  • Double Unders
